Welcome to Anglaide.com This site is owned and operated by Roy Almaas. Roy is available to teach group or private classes at your business in the Montreal area or even by telephone. He is also available to give workshops or speak to your organization. Roy has taught professional communication to business professionals in the Montreal region full-time since 1999. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry and all levels of government, having taught at such diverse companies as Bell Mobility, Canada Revenue Agency, the Canadian Space Agency, Cirque du soleil, the City of Montreal, the Molson Center, MDS Pharma, Novartis, Oxfam-Québec, Pfizer Canada, Revenu Québec, SCA and Videotron. He has presented several workshops discussing the fine points of working in English for francophone professionals. Roy was born and educated in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada. He moved to Québec in 1979 and lived for 20 years in the Saguenay – Lac-St-Jean region, so he speaks French fluently and understands the needs and problems of Quebec francophones. He currently resides in the borough of St-Léonard on the island of Montreal. Why Anglaide Is Different There are many ESL sites on the Internet and most of them are general enough to be useful to speakers of all other languages. Anglaide.com is different in the sense that its target audience is exclusively francophone and deals with the problems of speakers educated in French but working in an English environment. Feel free to surf this site and learn as much as you can. Testimonials Many former students have accepted to be used as references for Roy Almaas. Their names and contact information are available upon request.
